On Our Way Back!!!!!
Hi All,
Phil here from the North East of the UK.
We visited Orlando last October/November as a family (2 teenage daughters) and enjoyed it so much. Financially it was a drain and to be honest I thought maybe a once-every-5-years thing.....until we got on the plane to come home...:(
Well, the good news is we are about to book again!!!! It's been worth the scrimping and saving and we are going to come back in Feb 2011 which is only 16 months time. To say we can't wait and are totally excited is an understatement.
Last time, because we were on a budget, we stayed on I-Drive in the Quality Inn Plaza which was OK actually..bit basic but hey, you only sleep there.
This time we are going a bit upmarket (the Doubletree Nr Seaworld)
I used this EXCELLENT forum so much last time (got the park tickets from here etc) without actually registering and posting..this time it'll be SO different!!
Watch this Space!

Hi Phil & welcome, on our first visit it was meant to be a once in a lifetime trip, going out on 3rd October for our 14th visit[clap] it is just so addictive. Have you not considered a villa it is just the icing on the cake and not necessarily that expensive. It's worth looking into before you commit yourselves. Once again welcome.

Nice one Phil
You can't beat a bit of Florida in your life

Phill, Florida has a way of weaving it's magic. It is additive [msnwink] I have just taken a booking for 2011, so there are others planing ahead too [msnwink] The good thing with a villa as it can help with costs as you can have breakfasts at home, the odd BBQ and days just relaxing around your very own pool, so no fighting for the sun beds [msnwink]

Lovely to hear you have 'the bug'

Hi Phil, glad to hear you are going to be able to return to Orlando again. I am afraid it is an addiction - but what a nice one to have.
I have to admire you for taking two teenage daughters to a hotel - it was trying to juggle the family in one room with one tv and one bathroom which first opened our eyes to how great a villa was. No arguing about who goes first in the bathroom, no quarrels over who watches what programme, no vying with hundreds of other people for the best sunloungers as you have your own pool.
I bet you will be surprised if you take a look at what is on offer and compare it with the cost of one room in a hotel.
Hope you have a great time. Its very exciting to have something to look forward to.

Hope you enjoy the planning Phil
