Going to Orlando August 2010,have been many times before but always in January. We love at the end of the day to unwind in a lovely hot pool. Question is will we need pool heating on in August to get same results as January? many thanks

I would not bother in august, the pool temp will be in the upper 80s anyway.

I usually go in August, and I always have the pool heat on. Personally, I find it much more comfortable to have the water heated, but you will find as many opinions on this subject as there are replies!
If you were unsure, you could always ask the owner if it would be possible to have the heat turned on if you found that the pool was too cool for you. I am sure this wouldn't be a problem.
Have a great holiday!

At present (and this will be the case until the end of August) our pool is around 85 degrees in the morning and 88 degrees by mid afternoon until around 11:00pm without pool heat, so I suspect most other pools will be the same.
When we lived in the UK and came to Florida on vacation then we always opted for the pool heating any time of year.
