OK then, how about if I rephrase the question to read: Has anyone been to Marineland???
I read a leaflet about it when we went to Jacksonville, does that count? :)
I've heard of it but never been. [msnwink]
I've been working at Marineland for over two years and I would highly recommend the dolphin swim programs here. Understandably I may have a soft spot for this place but we are located directly on the ocean, are home to 14 dolphins including Nellie the world's oldest dolphin in human care, currently age 55, Lilly, the last known blonde dolphin, as well as three new calves born in the last few months. We offer a variety of dolphin interactions for guests to participate in (both wet and dry programs), host weddings and corporate events, offer summer camp for kids, etc. Please see our website at www.marineland.net or call reservations at 904-471-1111 Ext 116 for information.[msnsmile]

It's great to have some first hand info, thanks. We looked into it when we were visitng but didnt have time. It may well appear on our Christmas trip though, do they do the swims all year round?
Just a note that we would not normally allow posts like this, but on this occasion, and given the attraction is outside the normal areas we cover, we'll let it go. Looks a great day out [msnsmile].

Many thanks for the info.
Is there enough to do for a whole day, or is it just a half day out?
Since I shouldn't use this forum to promote our facility, please direct specific questions about Marineland to our staff via the phone number or email found on the website provided earlier today. Many thanks.
