Just a bit taken aback tonight after posting an availability enquiry for June 2009 to get a phone call back within 10-15 mins. from some owner who's name now escapes me.
I had rather expected an email back, NOT a phone call, email is fine folks, a phone call at 10.30pm aint,
I'm truly sorry.
A phone call at this time of night is a bit 'full on' to be honest.
I'm surprised that anyone would call so late, and hope it didnt put you off. I must admit I never phone unless asked to do so as I know it could be very frustratiing to receive many phone calls and whilst each of us likes to respond very quickly can be a bit off putting. Hopefully you can take a read through your emails at your leisure and then respond to any that may be of interest.
That is a quick response, and you are right, especially at that time of night a think an email is better.
Have a good night's rest and in the morning grab a coffee and toast and browse through the details of lovely villas that you will receive.
Don't know if I have see your request Martin - but I agree 10:30pm is a bit too "enthusiastic"

I have had a few phone calls from "enthusiastic" potential guests at after midnight - so I know how you feel
I would not call a potential guest unless they asked to in the E-mail to me. I agree that at 1030pm you don't want calls from owners, hopefully you can decide looking at all the E-mails and then make a decision.
Thanks every body, I was a little concerned I was going to be bombarded with unwanted phone calls at all times of day/night, glad to be re-assured I shouldn't expect to be.
Glad that the rest of the night was "peaceful"

I'm sorry you were disturbed so late and hope it doesn't put you off. I very rarely phone anyone unless they have enquired specifically for my villa and asked me to do so and I would never call at 10.30pm.
The thing is that some people call most of their potential guests and do think that if there is a phone number on the enquiry and it has just come through then you are at your computer and willing to accept calls. Also some owners live or are on holiday in the US and may have just forgotten about the time difference [msnoo]
