the end of our wonderful trip
ok guys , i am starting early , as to get this all wrapped up tonight for you all [msnsmile2]
friday 9th may universal studios and old town
again , not too early as we had a late one last night at the kingdom
so up and out by about 10am
i can't say we ever got to any of the parks before opening times , so i don't know if it was better going a little later or not , but we certainly never queued to park or get into any where [msnsmile2]
now again after a full day at universal .... really not too too much we had listed for this but needed to go anyway ...of course :D
as you all know by now , we are not the biggest coasters out there oh my goodness
the hulk !!! this is so big and goes on for ever , and i am sure it goes all round the park !!![msnsmile2] looked amazing , and the screams we heard were really reassuring to any first timers out there .not :D
we made our way through super hero island .....bill my hubby was the first one to spot spidie [msnsmile2], but zoooom and he was gone
daniel loves spiderman , and wanted to ride the ride straight away .it was a 50 min wait , so we decided to do it later on
we watched dr dooms fearfall as we walked past it :D
we did storm force acceleration after a 5 min wait , it was pretty good and they all loved it ,but i stayed out , and did the videoing , i was not feeling up to the waltzer aspect quite yet [msnsmile2]
(it's getting pretty hard to remember some of the rides ) but still got me books in front of me to refresh me [msnsmile2]
suddenly a loud siren went off , and we were all looking at one another thinking.whats going on here then , this is when it tells you all the super heroes are coming !!!
they all pull up in the street , i think they were on quad bikes , spidie , captain america , and some more , who i am not familiar with , 5 in all i think but they don't hang round too long and are soon running about :Dnice to see them though it was really entertaining
we made our way to jurassic park , but the rides we wanted to go like jurassic park river adventure and pteranonon flyers had waiting times of well over an hour each
what was going on we thought [msnsad]
as we headed for toon lagoon and got in the queue for popeye and bluto's bilge rat barges which again was nearlly an hour wait , we kind of worked out what was going on [msnsmile2]
we were sorrounded all ways by teenage american guys and gals all in the class of 2008 t shirts , and the girls especially having contests on who could scream the loudest and who was the best looking , it was quite funny , but it did soon start grating they were just sooo loud [msnsmile2]
having getting down the queue we saw the barges help 12 people [msnoo] OH NO ...there was 8 of the beauty queens and 4 of us
had to think fast , so behind us , was a lady and her 2 children looked just a normal family like us :D i kept having a glance at the lady and she too was getting a bit upset with all the goings on
i said excuse me , would you like to be our new best friends and say we are a group of 7 ??
:D oh she said that would be soooo great , thank you thank you and started clapping
so 4 became 7 , :D the ride was really great , and we all had the best time
so i guess we picked the wrong day to go it was so very busy and hard on the ears , it was a graduation open day
but we can't grumble at all , this is the only day , we experienced this , and it is good to see all the young ones having a great day , as long as they are not in front of me when i am in a queue:D only joking
had a look in seuss landing , as i am not too familiar with this i wasn't too sure what was going on , but it is really colourful , and there are some funny tunes on the rides , i guess the teenagers weren't too fussed on this location, as we got straight on caro-seuss-el :D , high in the sky trolley train , and 1 fish 2 fish ride :D
that was so funny , although the water aspect stopped working on our turn , and we were so looking forward to a cooling down [msnsmile2]
