Best Budget Site
Howdy, i am looking to book via Budget (hoping for a Mustang :D), just wondering what the best pick up location is for choice of cars of for a bigger range ?
I already have travel sorted from the Airport as we arrive a night and being my first time driving i don't want to risk it, i will be picking up the car the day after i arrive.
I am staying on Turkey Lane just off I-Drive, anyone know the best site for choice of cars etc :)
Cheers

Most depots offer the same selection of cars, other than some of the larger cars like the 8 / 12 seaters where they can sometimes be more limited.
If you check out our site you will see the full selection. Budget do have an International Drive depot. For the best chance of a Mustang, select the Intermediate, or the convertible if that is the model you are looking for.

Cheers Roger, i was just wondering if anyone had any idea of sites with bigger stocks e.g more cars on location, not just type of car but also stock pile.

I would have thought the airport would have the most selection.

Thats the problem, as we are going to pick up the day after we arrive we don't want to be getting back to the Airport and then have to return it before we leave (we also have travel back to the Airport via Mears Towncar)

You can drop off at a different depot to where you collected I believe.

Yea but its the paint of having to get to the Airport to just pick the car up, if we were not landing at night i would give it a bash, but as its my first time on the *Wrong* side of the road i didnt want to risk it.
Just wanting to make sure they don't have to **** off a [bad language filtered out]py car on us [msnsmile2]

I thought the same as you first time I had to pick up a car and drive on the wrong side of the road (usually left the driving to hubby but he was coming out a week later.) This was 2 (or is it 3?) years ago and we flew out the day after the July terrorist scare so couldnt take any hand luggage at all. We checked the bags in and then discovered we had a 7 hour delay. We even had to buy books to read and leave them behind as you couldnt take them on the plane! I was dreading landing as I knew it would be gone midnight (equivalent to 5am UK time) and then I'd have to drive. When we got there they'd run out of the intermediate car I'd booked and gave me a 7 seater instead, which is what I drive at home! The roads were absolutely deserted so I went at whatever speed I wanted and got used to the car. It was great and highly recommended to drive late at night!
Also in the US people obey the rules such as speed limit a lot more so I prefer driving there.
