e ticket?
can anyone help or reassure me with this one
basic details are that i booked flights directly with VA and received tickets by post approx a week later
we then amended the flight return date and since then (may) we have been waiting for our new tickets
i have been chasing them up because it seemed to be taking forever and today i have received a eticket via e.mail that says this is your ticket and pls print off to present at check in
but saying that i have also received an e.mail saying the date change for my flight has been actioned and the tickets are in the post expect them in 8-10days
so i am confused, has anyone had this happen before and do i need to be worried?
thanks Mizzy

I would think that if the E Ticket has the right information on it then you should be OK.

Why not give VA a call just to clarify the matter ?
They should be able to confirm if your booking is on a paper ticket or e-ticket.
You will find the booking ref. on the email you received. :)

If you have the same booking reference on your paper ticket and the e-ticket, then I would just check with them by phone that all is ok and the booking has now been 'associated' with the e-ticket as it is unusual for them to change it part way through. Saying that, I am surprised they are sending a new ticket, as normally, they would just re validate it at the airport or you checkin with the old one, but tell them what flight you are now booked on. You can look at your booking online too. But don't worry about it all will be fine

The first time we went to Florida we only had an e-ticket that we printed and took with us and it was fine, we had no paper tickets at all.
We made sure we printed extra copies and gave one to each member of our party just incase we lost it.
As long as all the info on the e-ticket reflects the changes you have made to your booking then you will be fine. If you are like me tho - a born worrier - then a quick call to VA customer service can't hurt [msnwink]
Take care

now you know me Elaine, i'm a born worrier[msnwink] i will wait the 8-10 days that the first e.mail said about posted tickets and if they don't come will phone them and see if the e.ticket is all i need
it has all the right details on but for some reason i think it looks very basic, perhaps it's just me , i like the feel of real tickets in your hand and not a diy print it yourself job[msnsad]
