home from florida

[Well. I came home from Florida on 25th January after a 12 day holiday. I come from Glasgow so my first leg of the journey was to catch a BA flight from Glasgow to Gatwick to connect with Virgin Airlines to Orlando. This was booked through Virgin for £10. (Good value I think). Booked a flydrive with Virgin and got my own accommodation through expedia. Virgin plane was only a third full so had plenty of space. Good flight over. Picked up hired car with no problems and drove to our first stop which was the Baymont Hotel on 192. Great location beside plenty of eateries. We didn't go to Florida to do the Disney aParks but the alternatives! Our next morning we rose to a beautiful day 76 degrees. Decided to go to The Holy Land Experience which is a new Park in Orlando. If you haven't been I would recommend it. Plenty to see. Drama and musical presentations throughout the day, and very professionally done. Came home about 5pm and went to Ponderosa for Dinner. (My hubby just loves Ponderosa and Sizzlers). In the evening we went to Downtown Disney Marketplace and walked around the shops and lake. Very warm evening. Had a really good day. Will tell you what we did the next day later. Hope I'm not boring you?
