July 4th
So many questions today - sorry!
I know it's a long time off yet but what does everyone recommend for the 4th of July?
I think we probably prefer to stay away from the parks - unless anyone can say that one of the parks will be less busy than the others. The Universal Parks are also a possibility if someone has any thoughts. Apart from that what does anyone suggest. I don't think we want to hang out at the villa though.
thanks

I believe the fireworks at Celebration are very good. Also, Celebration itself is well worth a visit, it is very pretty with some lovely shops and restaurants.
You could try visiting the waterfront at Lake Toho. They also have stalls selling crafts, and food, and the fireworks are excellent. Buses are provided to take you there to minimize congestion by the Lakefront. We got one in July from Albertsons supermarket on the 192. Chloe

Would also go with Celebration. Everywhere gets very hectic though. We did not do anything last 4th July but our friends ventured to Celebration and then Epcot and turned up at midnight, I felt like a worried Mum waiting for them to return!

This question often seems to come up and Celebration is always mentoned as THE place to go. In my opinion Celebration is great at any time so you can't go wrong!!

yes Celebration gets our vote too, but you really need to get there early . Make sure you go along and get a massage , it really makes you feel 10 years younger and the proceeds go to charity . The food stalls are very interesting , the music is great and the mood is well good old fashioned USA . We are all looking forward to July 4th 2006 .

Yep, Celebration is the best for a fun 4th of July. Last year Jim Belushi was there and had a concert and also they showed a Disney film with big screens so where ever you were you could see everything.
They also had stands outside for eating and drinking.

Hi,
I agree with everyone "Celebration" go early for parking becomes a problem and there are plenty of things to do, or just take a walk round the two lakes, especially the second one and admire the lovely homes

Last year they had bus service that took you into Celebration so was quite nice! Hope they do that every year.

Last time we were there on 4 July we went to Epcot for the fireworks in the evening. We had expected it to be very busy, but it wasn't - we had a great time.
