I'm not sure but we always carry ours in our hand luggage to be on the safe side.
As far as I'm aware, you should carry anything electrical or with batteries in your hand luggage.
We often put camcorder leads and chargers in our hold baggage to save on space in hand luggage, it's not like a battery, in that there is nothing which could potentially explode etc,
We always pack them in our case .
My husband works in the USA a lot and his work involes a lot of computer type equipment with lots of wires. plugs chargers etc far too many to carry in hand luggage, he packs it all in his case except the laptops (he has to take 2). He often has to open his case but that's to be expected but has never had any problems [msnwink]
Thanks guys - wasn't looking forward to having carry loads of leads in my hand luggage so will put them in the case - only 8 days to go!!!

I've found a good way to keep them together in the case and on holiday, is to put them into one of the zip up net laundry bags you can buy, that way they are all together and there is less chance of forgetting to repack one when you come home again.
I have always packed batteries and charger and all my electrical in my hold luggage??
We always put the chargers in the case
