Can someone tell me what the exchange rate is like at the moment please?

For the GB pound it around the $1.81 to the pount mark. The tourist rate will be lower around the $1.76 mark.

Looks like its on the up again. A couple of weeks ago it was steady at $1.66

Just checked myself today at the Nat West bank & it was $1.74

I have seen it has just gone up to $1.80 so hopefully on the increase again just in time for when we go in October.

If it carries on rising I am certainly getting my dollars now, not going to risk losing out again.

I came back yesterday and bought something in the Duty Free on my CC, rate was $1.76.
