Seating Tips
Virgin Atlantic
Economy Class - Aircraft : Boeing 747-400
Avoid Rows 20-37 ABC & HJK as these are minimum seat pitch. The centre DEFG seats have about 2-3 inches more legroom in this section. Beware row 37 as there is no window, so less shoulder room in seats A and K.
Upper Class - Aircraft : Boeing 747-400
If you get the new 'flat beds' ask for row 6. This is the first row on the lower deck and you have about 6' of room. You don't have to climb over your neighbour to get out of your seat - it's furthest from the bar / galley and quieter.

Has anyone looked at the pictures of airline food. Some look gorgeous (BA First Class for example) but some looks disgusting (Cubana springs to mind). Great website though with lots of very useful information.

Don't know whether to laugh [laugh] or cry [msncry] - guess what seats we have on Virgins Orlando flight in May - 34 & 35 J & K - 9.5 hours in sardine city with a 6ft 3 husband and two sons - what joy! Has anyone ever managed to blag an upgrade and if so can they pass on any tips?!!! [msneek]
