Best way to get flights

I need flights and a car (mini van) what is the best way to get these.

2 Adults, 1 teenager and 1 child
27th Dec to 13 Jan 06
Mini van + extra driver and petrol
DIRECT flight from London to anywhere except Miami (fed up of the 3.5 hour drive)

Should i do the car seperate, how do i try US companies (always use Virgin or BA)

John is absolutely right in saying that 'cheap' car hire prices on the web with US companies can be very misleading. Those prices often reflect the basic cost and when you add insurance etc, it goes up quite a lot. I have found this out to my cost in the past.

can 2nd 3rd and 4th that, when we booked our car hire last year (not through here as we didnt know of this site) we thought we had got a bargain, with the company we had chosen, but i put details the same through here and it was £12 cheaper so guess where i will be getting my car hire and flights from????????????????????????[msnwink]
