we have been to the gulf a few times i found st petersburg very nice the hotels we tend to use are the ramada group are cheap but pleasent and good value for money
Days Inn Marina Resort....lovely hotel, great location and good rates. Used this hotel a few times and never been disappointed yet.

ok have done though have never used DM before so fingers crossed.
We stayed at Adams Mark on Clearwater beach and it was lovely..You can also rent jetskis right there and they have a wonderful outside eating area and tiki bar. Hotel is right on the beach!
If you want cheap and cheerful motel to stay in Naples, this is the place.....

Can't promise it is the cheapest, but you get the best location for your money. The private houses on this road start at about $3m. You will be steps from the beach and Pier, steps from the centre of town.

Hotel It was around £45 a night it is not on the beach a couple of minuts by car, next to several resturants. A realy nice place for the money
