Disney raise prices!

Disney have put their prices up by $2 per day - also raising the price of multiday passes but said it will offer a discount to visitors who purchase them in advance.

Until Nov. 17, Florida residents will be able to buy a four-day pass good for admission to all Disney parks for $109.

The price of a four-day pass bought at the park will rise $7 to $199 (excl.tax), but will be available for $192 (excl. tax) if purchased online, over the phone, at Disney Stores outside the state.

Play 4 Days treats Florida residents to four days of park hopper privileges among the four Disney theme parks for only $109 per person, plus tax.

Here are the money-saving details:

Good for Walt Disney World theme park visits Sept. 6 through Nov. 17, 2002.

Provides unlimited park hopper privileges on the days used. That means multipark visits in one day -- if the guest wishes -- and three more days to do the same thing.

Available to Florida residents only; proof of residency for each guest required.

Purchase at Disney theme parks and other locations, such as Florida AAA offices and Florida Disney Stores.

“Play 4 Days makes the already great value of a Disney World vacation even sweeter for Floridians,” said Al Weiss, president of Walt Disney World Resort. “It’s our way of thanking home-state residents for their support. And it’s a way for them to save on a Disney getaway.”

Play 4 Days ticket holders will find Disney-MGM Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Magic Kingdom brimming with things to do, too. It’s the exciting homestretch of Disney’s 100 Years of Magic, a four-park celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of founder Walt Disney. New parades, live shows and attractions sparkle across the Vacation Kingdom now through Dec. 31, 2002.

In addition, Oct. 19-Nov. 17 are dates for the seventh annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, featuring international tasting stations, culinary demonstrations, an outdoor concert series and much more. And the daytime stars come out Nov. 9-10 for ABC Super Soap Weekend at Disney-MGM Studios.
