Finally getting ready to move to florida.

Hello all finally my husband is going to go to florida to his brothers house till he finds a job, then when he saves enough money we will go,me and ( 2 kids) My husband will be going to an area called (apopka) does anyone know anything about this area? is it a decent area? much crime? I live in puerto rico , and am looking forward to a change. I hope the rent is not too expensive there. many thanks in advance for your help god bless........ mary

I know Apopka quite well. It is north of Winter Park and near some well known beauty spots such as Wekiva Springs and Kelly Park. There is quite a big shopping area. Never been into the subdivisions but know a couple of people who live there and they wouldnt live somewhere that wasnt nice.
