We are trying to locate a music shop for my son that specialises in effects equipment/pedals etc for electric guitars, preferably in and around Orlando, but if anyone has seen one further afield ie Fort L or in Tampa we could check it out.

Many thanks

Andy

Andy,
Being a muso, I'm always on the lookout for music shops, but there cerainly aren't many dedicated ones around Orlando or Kissimmee. The DTD one is about the best around although the prices are certainly not the cheapest!!

Andy,
Just remembered another one - if it's still there - on the main street in downtown Kissimmee, just small but had quite a bit of stock, and the prices were realistic!

Ah, yes, we've been in there and the peeps seem very helpful. Just better say it's in Kissimmee Old Town (not the one with the bungee jump, the one under the archway from the 192). While you're there, have a stroll around the antique shops, have a coffee or snack at Joanie's diner and take a look at Lake Toho which is at the back of the shopping area.

Actually, I've never been into Joanies but it does look nice! :D I have a secret place there that we go to eat with the locals where coffee is 99 cents and, no, wild cats wouldn't drag the name out of me! It's only very small and we want to be able to get inside the next time we go!

Many thanks for the replies, tho with this request being rather specialised I wasn't expecting any response, but hey you guys are just so knowledgeable......:D

Blott, I know where the 192 is and the rough whereabouts of Old town Kissimee where the two rides are, but not too sure where the archway is, could you point us in the right direction please:D:D:D

Thanks

Andy

The Archway is further east along the 192 from the Ferris Wheel,

Others might have to correct me, but its where the OBT cuts over
the 192
