Have a look at these websites

www.circuitcity.com
www.bestbuy.com
www.compusa.com

They are all on OBT - around half a mile from Flofrida Mall

Toshiba A40 2.8Ghz at Circuitcity is $1048 (no doubt plus tax in Florida!), mail in rebate of $100 only for US customers so £588 + tax

Same thing at Dabs.com (UK) is £703 with a proper UK layout keyboard etc.

You are likely to save about 10% buying in the US but you will have a slightly different keyboard layout and check if there is an international warranty. The deals at Dixons in the airport are pretty good and do seem genuine compared with the high street.

I just bought mine about three weeks ago in Best Buy by Florida Mall. It cost $1500 but I got a $300 mail off rebate coupon, so not bad. It has everything on it including dvd player, wireless modem, and cd rewriter.
