Best route to Ft Lauderdale

We are going to Orlando next week for a couple of days before heading down to Ft Lauderdale.

Can anyone tell me the best route to take, as we are not sure whether to take the 91 or the I95?

We would appreciate any advice.

think you can go on the I4 south but we always use the Florida turpike - less traffic and more scenic - there is a autoroute site I can send you if you want

The I4 doesn`t go south, it goes East - West, it just passes through Orlando in a North - South direction.

Stick with the Turnpike, its easy driving and only cost approx $11 to go all the way.[msnwink]

We did wonder about the I4 as we had aways thought the even numbers run E to w and odd number N to S.
