BA have a sale for flights, Tampa and Miami, around £320 rtn for September travel - does not include Orlando[V]

But people could fly to either destination and drive up to Orlando? I imagine that they would clear formalities at Tampa airport quicky enough (compared with MCO) that they may not actually waste any time, especially for the 'Tampaside' villas on US27. Considering the US fuel costs, the small amount of extra money spent would be worth it.

Tampa is about the same driving time to most villas as Sanford is - just over and hour. It's a great option for a gateway into Florida [msnsmile2]

We already have flights booked in and out of MCO in September, we have relatives that want to join us but we do not fancy having to pick them up and drop them off at Tampa then driving to and from Orlando Int. hence the [V] I have booked flights for April and am returning from Tampa which I prefer:)

Tampa's a lovely airport, not as busy as Orlando so less stress and as John said not that
far from the Villa communitys either

We will have to check this out next time we are looking for flights. Tampa is certainly a good option to consider.[msncool]

In fact, the next time go to Orlando (which is not likely to be before October 2007 [msnsad]), I think we will try to use Tampa airport. The wait at MCO this time really put us off.
