Hi Everyone

We are off next week to spend the whole summer in Florida. How lucky are we..... Being totally disorganised i haven't given much thought to getting online and keeping in touch with our loved ones. We are staying in a villa with the usual set up re phone. Past occasions we have taken a phone card and called home via an 1-800 number. It is now puzzling me how we pay for internet access. I was thinking we simply pick up an AOL US free trial over there and away we go but will there still be line charges?

There might be and AOL can sometimes prove really difficult to cancel!

Best plan is to sign up with Access4free www.access4free.com which has lots of local numbers (one or some of which are bound to come free of charge with your villa I would think) and plug in your laptop.

Don't download their software as this has sometimes caused problems with some PCs. Just follow the instructions on their website to set up Outlook Express (you can do this before you go).
