My husband and his our friend will going to a gig at House of Blues whilst we are on holiday. Our Plan is that I drive us in our minivan, spend a few hours there and then leave them to see the show. To save me going back to pick them up I wondered if anyone could advise if there are taxi ranks at DTD that the guys could go to and get a taxi back to the villa.

If so, do they check before getting into the taxi how much it would cost them or would anyone know roughly how much the journey would be back to Indian Point

OR

Would they be better pre-booking one to pick them up in the evening.

I can answer that question. On a recent visit to DTD, I got er--lost from rest of my party and since I had the only key to the car, the others had to call a taxi to get back to Orange Tree. Apparently, there were plenty of taxis nearby and they had no trouble getting one...so I guess your folks will be all right. It cost them $42 to get back,,,, but it was after 2am and I am sure they were unable to explain the exact location of the villa to the driver. So, it will probably be around $35 plus tip.
