Just wondering if any of you have ever ran the Disney Marathon?
If so what did you think of the course.
Also even though it is cooler in January, how was the heat whilst running.

i was just reading an advert in runners world at work today about the wdw marathon weekend 7 - 9 january 2005. i txt the lads and made a date for 2006 to keep on training after the ny marathon when we will hopefully be up and running:D(pun intended) to book our own villa ourselves.
never ran it but looks fun, although can you imagine running 26.2 miles to be beaten over the line by a mouse , a duck and probably a tigger too!(must buy a pair of nike tinkerbells!)

A friend did the New York Marathon a few years ago, I know its not on topic, but he loved it

I am doing the 2005 Disney Marathon and got quite a bit of useful info off the Runner's World website. Have a look there. Apparently it is a bit on the cold side in the morning but apparently tends to warm up during the race.

yeah, thats what I heard also. Apparently you run through all 4 Disney Parks at some point during the race. Sounds good.
Thats right you do go through all 4 parks during the race. We are looking at running it Jan 2006.
