View Full Version : no 10 day world pass?
the site ticket agent on this forum seems pretty decent value for tickets on face value. we were only out there in may.
but, there is no 10 day world pass shown on this site. do they do it and if so why is it not advertised??
the 10 day pass is the man. for a little more than the 5/6 day hopper plus it allows you to bounce every day from say animal kingdom first thing to mgm, then water park at lunch then over to epcot and into the quest etc
the other park hoppers only give you a limited amount of special hops ie typhoon lagoon
in may we only went for a week to buy , so we went straight to typhoon and bought a 5 day hopper plus, asking and presuming we could hop all week. on day 3 they refused us entry cos we had used up our special hops.
we had a quiet word, regarding what we had been told on purchase:D:D, and credit to them we got one pair of freebie entries to typhoon that day and a promise to train new staff!!
i am right aren't i?

The biggest difference thought Trev is that the 5/7 day hoppers never expire.
A 10 day hopper expires 21 days after 1st use.
So if you only use 3 days at Disney then the other 2/4 can be used on another holiday in the future. Thats why they suit us better , as we dont go to all the parks all day as were busy exploring other places.
The 10 day hopper ticket is only available to purchase in the UK. Not US agents (or Disney themselves) sell this ticket. The 10 day pass also includes a character breakfast and unlimited access to Pleasure Island and Disney Quest. It is good value but it depends how many days you plan to spend at Disney. We get it because it allows you to dip in and out without feeling you have to spend all day in a park if you only have a few days to use.

it just depends on the individual as to which is better value, for ourselves the 10 day is no good, I dont want to spend 10 days at disney so i always buy the 7 day hopper use 4-5 days and use the rest when i go ago, but like you say trev the 10 day is better if you use the water parks as you can go all 10 days rather than just 2 with the hopper.

If you are a frequent visitor, it may be worth checking on the annual pass. We got 2 adults for $780 at Christmas, used it again in March and ready to use it again in October.
You also get free car parking, which is a saving of $7 a visit and you also get discount in the Disney shops and lots of other discount in a voucher booklet.
I suppose it all depends on how much you like Disney.
The other benefit we find with our APs is that we can pop in to a park just for the evening fireworks and have not 'wasted' a day like we would have with a hopper.

in the same vein we are considering a 2 year pass for sea world, but will wait until we close on the villa.
so is our ticket link on this site us based then which is why they dont sell the 'brit' ticket?

Yes - all our tickets are sourced in the US so we cannot get hold of the 10 day pass. We do do other passes like the 4 Day Hopper Plus that are not available in the UK and find this a very popular ticket.

Yes - anyone can buy one - the only question is will you go enough times in one year to make it pay for itself.

can anybody clarify this for me please
the premium annual pass is comparable to the 10 day pass
and if you use the annual pass for more than 15 days your gaining financially rather than using the 10 day one
i definately read and assumed you had to be a florida resident or at least a home owner to get the annual pass
THANKS FORUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone can buy an Annual Pass, you can't buy over the net from the UK you have to buy when you get to the park.
You have to be an owner or a resident to get the Florida Annual Residents pass, not the ordinary Annual Pass, as this is available to everyone, no matter where they come from.
Florida residents have their own Annual Pass which is discounted from the normal Annual Pass cost, and have to show ID etc..

sorry trevlad i thought my question could be asked as a follow on from above threads but its obviously going to take longer so have moved it to my own topic
http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=11325
Although you've moved the bit about the annual passes, I thought I'd throw my bit in.
You can also buy annual passes by ringing the the Disney World ticketline (407 939-1289). We did that and they sent us vouchers to exchange at any of the Disney World ticket offices.
It looks to me like you can purchase Annual Passes online for Disney http://attractiontickets.tickets.com/buy/TicketTrans?storeID=DRR&category=WDW_AP&tokens=Yjl75NxINb5NXriV%2ByuwljDDDJx2gLbk0TIfLDi63 tB9CR1jdhbf7dUI4hJ7eQhixoR06kHziHIo9oocMBdOWvHB%2B 1zz3s7h65xXOBpAc%2B%2FVRnmlv67B1XT20T392vFhYUI%2Fq hjKxkMGBi4QkoKFQAVY7CiN01WC1c4YbCEUZOu2DVCto85j1H6 QQrLKAwkIWuZoj%2BQLBd7cUqvbpZzKCpGCv0qBbNzjgec9Y8m f9UAz8bld9clw032EmuakXsl5hGP%2BCz9G%2FFamHtpBS%2BK K51rIViepGVtZfMv0nuXbWCTYxxAo%2FsN1crbqtRYxxc93%2F K%2BgrfyWZErLdk37uavY%2FFwgALY1NpxGtuq1FjHFz3ciBpg IJrge%2Fi2pp97P6EUkO0Vh%2FePXaKqSXiNZ3JP4l25vaPKeW I8OwDWur5BjjlLQi87oIsGhMuJ2XnwKZ0bzuwVE1MIJzNLZdml AzNwMCux7evhCQ4S6
We tried, you cant.
But they let you key in your card details and shipping address before telling you !
Oh dear, sorry! :( I just noticed the order page but I didn't get as far as trying to buy one as I don't want one! Do they give you a reason why you can't purchase online?
Nothing at all, we assumed that it was to do with shipping internationally, but nothing explains why.
They just give you an error message and the phone number of the ticket office. But as that office ships internationally, it didn't make sense.
The call only cost around 40p and the vouchers arrived about a week later.
