What's the best way to order eggs in the US? My husband cannot stand snotty eggs but like the yoke runny. I thought if you asked for sunny side up the eggs aren't cooked properly on top.
Hope this makes sense and someone can help...

I hate plastic eggs, like the ones you describe. Ask for them over easy - they always come out okay for me that way.

Over easy (for very runny yolks) or over medium for mostly runny yolks with no "slimey white" at all.

Must admit last year in Denny's I tried to order eggs the way I like them, the lady and
my family burst into laughter at me, so I didnt have any

So just how do you like your eggs Chris [?]
If everyone was laughing so much did you ask for them 'funny side up' [?]:D

From what Carla has typed, its over medium, so will have to remember that this year :)

Well over easy should bring them with cooked white [ officially] and runny yoke - basically over easy [ I was told] means the egg is cooked and flipped over to cook top. Sunnyside up, they are just cooked underneath. Cooked through - is cooked both sides until hard.:D

Or I could offer to cook them myself :D
