PC problem & have lost password

I wanted to post a query to see if anyone can resolve a pc problem we are having. the page asked me for a password, which I can't remember but there is no 'lost password link' as described in teh FAQ page, can anyone help?

Which section of the forum were you trying Elaine?

i cant help if you are owner but am fairly new to forum and have found if your pc has remembered the password it only does it from the front page and not if you connect from anywhere else

maybe you can get in that way and change your password???

I don't think Elaine means her user password for the forum or she wouldn't have been able to post.

its what i did to reply to this
went to front page put t for my name then it comes up with dots for my password

sometimes can and sometimes can't remember password

is there a way of changing password when your in??

you can possibly reply using this method
but you cant get in to change your password without knowing your old one

to get into your profile you need a password
theres no lost password link to that either!

it was one of the tabs near the bottom of the front page "computer/internet queries"

I've now found the password and it is saying it is invalid. I've tried it with the caps lock on and off and with an initial capital or small letter at the beginning and it doesn't work.

as you get about 3/4 way down you are entering the owners section which requires its own password if i'm reading this forum correctly

Elaine, you need cookies enabled for your PC to remember your password so have you got a firewall or something with the security set to high?

If you'd like to DM me the password you want to use, I'll try and change it for you.
