There are loads of rides in the major Orlando theme parks where the riders cannot avoid getting very wet. This may sometimes be a blessing (on a sweltering summer afternoon, for example) for the individual, but his/her camera may not be so forgiving. Most rides do not have any special areas to stow camera equipment and those that do are pitifully inadequate.
There are very good and cheap 'dry bags' available to protect sensitive equipment from rain, wet rides etc. Millets do them from £8 to £12 and they come in an assortment of sizes. They can be stuffed into a jeans pocket when not in use and are very easy to carry even with the camera inside. I used one this trip and it was one of the best decisions that I made.
