We are travelling to Indian Point in Kissimmee in three weeks for a two week vacation. Our party consists of four adults and four children (aged 3, 5, 11 & 16 yrs).

This is our second trip to Florida, but our last holiday two years ago consisted of one week on International Drive and one week on the gorgeous Gulf Coast. Consequently, we saw very little of Orlando, other than the major theme parks (all Disney, and Sea World). We definitely needed our week in Sarasota!!

Can anybody suggest any day time entertainment in Kissimmee that would be suitable for our party? We plan to do some of the Disney Parks again, Busch Gardens and Universal. We are also looking for restaurants with good quality food that are completely family friendly, that we don't have to drive too far to in the evenings.

Any suggestions are welcome. We plan to go back again (and again and again!!) so every suggestion will be noted. Many thanks.

Hi SarahJ - have a look under the headings Miscellaneous Attractions and Eating Out. When you click on one, look at the top right of the page, there is a white box with a downward arrow, click on the arrow then select 'show topics for the last year'. This will give you all the contributions people have made on the forum over that time!! Plenty info there.

If you open a blank document then use your cut and paste you can copy out all the relevant info to you. Then you can print it out and take it with you!!

Did you visit Downtown Disney on your last visit? We like to take time out there, an evening visit is totally different to daytime.

Enjoy your 'browsing' and have a great holiday/vacation <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Indian Point is an excellent location. Make sure you use the Osceola Parkway for access to Disney and 535 for Universal/Sea World.
Good restaruants are:

Olive Garden
Charlies Steakhouse
Any of the Celebration Town eateries
Bahama Breeze
Foultons Crabhouse at Downtown Disney
Californian Grill at the Florida Mall

Other things to do nearby:

Kissimmee Main Street and lake front.
Old town
Celebration.
Osceola Schools Preserve
Spend a day in Walmart:)

Indian also has Tennis Courts and BBQ area.
If yo need tickets then order them Oralando Villas. The price is good and the office very close to Indian Point.

If you fancy something a bit different on a night-maybe after a quiet day -then try the Sleuths Murder Mystery Dinner Show- we went and it was a hoot!
