Thanks to everyone who recommended Golden Corrall for buffet style meals. We have driven past on numerous occasions before but went twice this time. Excellent value for money and much better choice of food and desserts than Sizzlers.

Where is Golden Corall? It rings a bell but can't place it.

There are many around, nearly always close to a Sizzler. There's one on the 192 shortly after Formosa Plaza. There's also one opposite the Sizzler near Crossroads.

They are great for all you can eat buffets. Have been there a few times, a good place to stock up before spending a day at one of the parks.[msnsmile2]

Listen out for the bell ringing during your meal - found out it means fresh bread is being served.

Just come back from dinner there and although the cost has gone up slightly to 6.99 for lunch and 9.99 for dinner its still worth every cent as we can all have something to suit our tastes including roast meats and mashed potatoes etc.

Youcan get coupons for the Golden Corral in all the free coupon books found everywhere.
The best one was in the big light blue I love Orlando book, I think that's the name, which had a coupon enabling you to get the steak and seafood buffet for $7.99 per person on Fri. & Sat.
We found this booklet outside Cracker Barrel on 192.
We ate several times at the one on the 535 next to Bahama Breeze and it was always very good

This is another for us to try in the summer as we have never been to one. It sounds great:)

One of the reasons we liked it was that drinks, including orange juice and apple juice, were included in the price. Also they have fantastic cook to order omlettes with your choice of fillings. The fresh baked breads and pastries are pretty good too, better stop now i've started drooling.

We found that the best time to go to the Golden Corral is around 11:30am as it tends to be quiet.

Been a couple of times at night and it was very busy and very messy !

Will definately be back for a visit in September, especially for the choice of desserts [:I]

Definately messy is the right word ,we went in Jan at the wrong time ie sunday lunch,it was full of hispanics filling up and hordes of kids poking fingers into the food and tasting it.The amount of food choice and quality is amazing but those kids fingers ,well not very hygenic and the parents eating/table manners were yucky also. This was the one on the 192 heading east just past the Medieval Times/Giant Walmart .Obesity rules the All You Can Eat Buffet,I never realised just how skinny i am:D
