View Full Version : Table tennis + Pool Table hire
As regular forum members will know we lost the villa we were renting for our gulf coast week because of roof problems. Try as I might and believe meI have tried, I cannot find a game room home on the gulf for our dates. As both my sons play competitive pool and table tennis for their county they need to keep
up their games whilst away. So I was wondering if
1. It was possible to hire tables (AT OUR EXPENSE OF COURSE)
2. Whether owners would have any reservations about guests doing this?
3. Whether anyone on the forum has any contacts in this area?
Hope somenone can help.
I've had a search for you for renting a pool table and table tennis but I can't find anything available.
I did find some Gulf Coast rental condos with pool tables though...
It would really depend on individual owners whether they would allow this or not (that is if you find somewhere to rent the tables from) and you'd obviously need to ask permission first.

Have you tried looking for villas on a community that has clubhouse facilities? You'd probably get a pool table and maybe table tennis there.

Or if it really has to be at the villa - maybe you'd have more luck with a villa near Disney and have a few day trips to the beach - not ideal if you want to be on the coast but the Games rooms seem to be catching on more quickly in the Orlando area villas
Caroline,
We are on Emerald Island for the 1st week with a game room but we need the relaxation of a week on the coast!

Ah! Maybe the community with a clubhouse might be an option then?
Are there any in the gulf regions?
I have managed to locate a rental supplier of pool tables in Bradenton and am awaiting a quote. How far is Bradenton from Cape coral?
It is quite a long way I'm afraid. I am guessing 90-100 miles.

Thanks Ruth, I didnt realise it was so far. It may not be an option then as it may be very expensive.
