We have to drive from Sanford airport to pick up our keys from on the 192 West of Animal Kigdom. Looking at the map we can either go straight through the centre on International drive, or skirt round east on the 417.
Any advice which would be best, and how much tolls will be?

I would go on the 417, you will need change for Tolls.

Tolls are between 50c and 75c

Whoops sorry forgot to add that, thanks Ann-Marie. I believe that when you come off the 417 at Celebration Avenue (onto 192) you will definately need 25c as this toll booth is unmanned. The 417 is generally quiet and it will save you a lot of time. Where exactly do you have to pick the keys up from?

We have to pick them up from a big blue and yellow building at 9550W Highway 192 Cleremont. (don't think I'm allowed to mention the management company here) It seems to be between the junctions with 545 and 27.
Do the tolls need coins or do they give change?
Hubby is getting some currency today (yes I know it's gone down again) and I've told him to ask for some $1 bills.
How long do you think it will take to drive there?
The tolls that are manned will give change, but its best to have small notes, the unmanned
ones you have to chuck your coins into a basket, didnt notice if these had a place where
you could feed notes into

I'd better buy something at the airport then to get coins.
Or when you get to the first Toll on the 417, ask if they can change say a Dollar note up, im
sure they wont mind
as stated previously you will be able to get change from the manned toll booths just make sure you have change when you come off at celebration as this booth is unmanned last year the car in front had no change and we lent him the 50 cents {come to think of it he still hasn't paid me back]

That could of been my Sister, even though she had been given the correct money before she went, she still managed to spend it and had to borrow from the car behind (duh).

I agree the 417 is good,I-4 is a second option but remember directions are usually in east,west etc,you will be heading west as a general direction to 192 kissimee area

We used the 417 2 weeks ago, I think the total toll charges was about $3 most of them were manned and gave change.

If this is your 1st time to the area, definitely go with the 417. If you have been on I4 before and/or are familiar with driving in the US, then take the I4. If you have kids, there is more to keep a look out for and keep 'em interested in what is to come. Going past Universal/Sea World etc. gets the excitement going. Also takes their mind off from the 1 hour drive from Sandford to that area.
