Hi,

Can anyone help[?]
Have just been looking at our travel documents and noticed that the car hire mentions 'clean licence'. Does anyone know whether 3 points for a speeding offence[:I] (60 in 50 zone)will stop me from driving on holiday.

It's not a problem. I've rented several times in Florida with points on my license. They do not seem worried about speeding convictions - much like in the UK when you rent a car. Other types of driving convictions are more the problem - drink driving, driving without insurance - that kind of thing.

Unfortunately I have got things on my liscence alot worse than points for speeding and I have never had any problem with hiring cars in US. I have rented with Dollar, Hertz and Alamo this year alone. I am sure you will be fine.
