I am lead to believe that Florida operate Tax Free Shopping days! Does anyone know if this is true? If so do you know when the next day is, as I am due to be in florida the first two weeks of july.

When we were there last August the tax free shopping week was on, it's to do with "back to school" so coincides with when the American children go back to school. The tax free doesn't only apply to school related items. I'm sure there will be an American homeowner who can give you the exact dates, we saved quite a lot on clothing and household items.

I answered this earlier on so I don't know what happened there!!
First week of August is usually when it's on - as Steph says it's all to do with when the children go back to school.
