Hi there!! Making plans for our trip in 2005 (V.organised, I know !!! [:I]). My little girl would love to have breakfast/lunch/dinner with the princesses, especially Cinderella and Aurora.
I have heard you can do it in the castle and also in Norway. Does anyone have any details or advice on this one??????

Have booked the Cinderella breakfast in the castle for May but never been on this one before. This one (and I think the other one too) get booked up immediately. The advice is to phone when dining reservations opens (at 7am their time) on the day that the reservation opens. Ours was 90 days before and both my husband and I tried separately - he got booked but my call took ages to go through and they were already sold out!!
I think the Disney website has a calculator to work out the day that the seating will become available.
We have done character breakfasts before - the meals were fine and you don't get too much time with each character but my daughter loved it because the characters came to her rather than her queuing to see them. Says it all....
I have done both breakfasts and they are both great for the Princesses. As far as I know there is no Princess lunch but the dinner at 1900 Park Fare at The Grand Floridian and Spa was Cinderella and friends the last time we were over and this was excellent too. When you phone WDW dine they will advise you on the characters you would usually get at each venue though they are always subject to change:)
We took my son and my Gf's niece last year (the breakfast). We were not impressed at all. However she will meet the pricesses and such which is the main thing. We found the food awful and compared to the Winny the Pooh breakfast it didn't compare.
The main thing is they meet the charactors though.

For those who have done this, do you usually get all the princesses at both places? If not, which ones are usually found where?
You are best asking that when you phone to book. You used to get all the princesses at Cinderella's but I am not certain that this is still the case since they started the one in Norway:)
In December at CRT we had Cinderella, Princess Aurora, Mary Poppins, Belle and Snow White.
As people have said the food is not the reason for doing this.
I found the price was worth it for the 'Princess Time' which to be honest was what we were really paying for.
Luckily the daughter did not notice the amazing similarity between Cinderella at Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party and Princess Aurora at the Royal Table [8D]
Might try the Norway one next.

We did the Cinderella breakfast in May - we couldn't fault the food, the location was excellent and we saw lots of characters (Cinderella, Aurora, Belle (blue dress), Mary Poppins & Aladdin). The Fairy Godmother is in the lobby throughout the morning for pictures and autographs. We were there for a birthday and my little girl was presented with a birthday cake with candles - a fantastic memory and something we would repeat again.
