We have never remained after the main shows closed at Sea World in previous visits. This time around, we will be going to Sea World on the last day of our holiday on 12th May and wondered about staying on to watch the FIREWORKS show that they now appear to have at dusk. Also, if we have supper at one of the waterfront places like Fireside Inn or Voyager's Wood, can we see the fireworks well from there?

i can't help you with the dining but we stayed to watch the fireworks at Christmas and they were really disappointing, not a patch on Disney's:(I would never bother to do that again.

The fireworks are actually a lot better (not difficult) when you're up with them in the Sky Tower.

However, last time we were in Orlando, the Sky Tower was closed and the area around it was being redeveloped. Did they keep it after they'd finished the work ?

Sky tower is still there and we finally managed to get up it in December after trying for the previous 3 trips!.

Never seen any fireworks though or seen them on the show guide sheets you pick up at the park entrance.

Check that there will be fireworks on that night. We have annual passes and they dont have them every night now, they are seasonal and special events only, There were none on the last two occasions that we went and Shamu Rocks was the last thing on in the evening. The fireworks are over the lagoon and best viewed fom the old waterski stadium.

You're right. I checked and they are now peak season events only, due to start on 29th May this year. That means we'll miss them. Well, OK it gives us an extra hour to pack for departure.
