Kennedy Space Center tours

I recall the days when Kennedy Space Center used to have 'Red' and 'Blue' tours. Their format and content seems to be changing regularly. This time, we want to reserve places for the NASA CLOSE-UP TOUR which seems to be the only current way of seeing the International Spaca Station exhibit. But we also want to see the L-39 Gantry and the Apollo / Saturn V area; are these exhibits available onthe NASA Close-up Tour or do we have to go on the inclusive KSC Bus Tour also?

They are all on the up close tour - we did it last October and really enjoyed it. We did not get taken to the International Space Station one though although we did get to see things such as the landing strip which I have never seen from the ground before.

I think the International Space Station was closed for some time after 9/11. Looks like it opened again a few moths ago.
