Is there anybody running a restaurant or take away who can give us some advice on buying and running such?
I am not in that market but have to say that unless you are going for a niche product, there is an immense amount of competition in this field.Both the 192 and I Drive are a sea of restaurants and takeways. We went to Burger King on 192 at 8.30 pm last night, sat in there for half an hour and were the only people in there. If you want my advice, someone doing decent British food might attract all the ex pats ( there are about 10,000 Brits and Irish ) as well as the holiday makers. Taking the Americans on in burgers or the Italians in pizzas would not be recommended in my book.
