Are you thinking of staying on Formosa Gardens then?

No-there's no construction and there is The Outback and Carrabas restaurants-both very good.

Construction will start shortly on phase 2 of Formosa Gardens (or that is what we were told in February), but this should not cause any inconvenience to anyone on phase 1.

There is construction on the opposite side of the road where a new estate is being built, but Formosa Gardens is protected by it's own wall plus the wall of the estate opposite, so you it is unlikely this would cause any problems.

The FG shopping plaza has 4 good restuarants, Outback, Carrabas, Giordano's, TGIF, plus a subway, Dairy Maid and Taco Bells. There is a supermarket open until midnight (and a publix 5 mins up the road open until 11.00pm). There is a chemist, walk-in medical centre, and nail shop amongst others!

Why do you think I said among others - I knew I was forgetting some and can't remember them all.

You wouldn't think we drive past it twice each day we're out and shop / eat there almost every day would you!

There are links to the Outback and Carrabbas on my "I would recommend" thread but there is also a Chinese buffet thing on the other side of the 192. Can't remember the name of it.

Plus going back east there are a few more not to mention the M - don't want to say it in case any kids are watching.

This is also the road you use for the easy way into and out of Disney World for people on our side.
