Hi,

Sorry to be a pain, can anyone give me good villa estates to rent? Ive recieved 60 emails from various owners but i cant decide where to rent, they all seem good.

What estate do you think is best?

Any ones to avoid?

thanks

They all have unique things! We are probably each partial to our development which is why we all bought where we did....

Sorry I can't help[:I] but you should know there aren't any bad ones- go with your gut! Oh- And have BLAST!!!!

Sorry had to edit my grammar!!![:I]LONG DAY![:p]

None to avoid that I know of - they all are good! Really, it's down to your personal choice. It's no good any home owners recommending any as we'd all be biased towards our own home community!

You could try the communities info page at http://www.orlandovillas.com/community_display.asp which I think probably covers most of them and there's also a map page at http://www.orlandovillas.com/map.asp showing you where they're located.

Another way to make a short list or decide may be to make a list of the facilities you'd like and which homes have the ones you want?

When I made an enquiry I also received loads of e-mails so I looked through and deleted the ones which didn't appeal, obviously, then I printed the map and the community info. After looking at the community info I then found the ones I liked the sound of on the map, I decided I didn't want to be in Kissimmee centre due to traffic, that's just a guess though as I have never been! Once I had narrowed it down to about 8 communities I did a search myself for each individual community and villa size on the OV site. It was quite easy then its just a matter of which villa appeals to you, but guess what - I came back to the one I liked the best out of my enquiry e-mails! Just hope it is the right choice, I'm sure it is.

I know this may sound like a lot of hassle but that's the way I did it and I feel as if I have thoroughly investigated what's to offer and I needn't be worried that something better is going to come along.:D

Hope this helps.

Just out of interest, and to help us owners, what was it in the initial emails that made some villas appeal and some not appeal to you?

Thanks in advance.

Initially is was the pool, was it back to back with others, not in a southerly direction, that's the first thing I looked at, then the interior decor, different people have different tastes so what appealed to me wouldn't necessarily appeal to others, also I wanted a hot-tub and a games room as we have three daughters two of whom will be teenagers and then the TV's in the bedrooms and playstation was a plus with kids of that age. I know I have been told by some people you don't spend much time in the villa but I think you need rest days and I would like those to be as stress free as possible, if the kids are happy then I will be happy lazing in the hot-tub - can't wait (18 months to go!)[msncool]:D

Hi Carrie,

Put in a general enquiry on the three sites attached to this forum. http://www.orlandovillas.com/
http://www.villasflorida.com/
http://www.onlinefloridavillas.com/

Would recomend you book direct with a villa owner, as you will get the more personal touch.

Have fun in Florida.:)
