We are looking into bringing our dog on our vacation next year, and it looks like there are not many rentals allowing dogs. Is this usually a hard no, or can exceptions be made? The dog in question is a toy poodle, so it is tiny, and allergy friendly. Is there any use in asking do you thing?

I suppose it depends on the owner and the size of the dog etc, Some owners are strict as some guest's can have allergies.

I would suggest you send out a general enquiry for your dates and state your case regarding the size of dog and would it be crated etc while your out of the house etc.

Regards,

Mark.

Actually I don't think you may have as much time as you think.

Summer is a busy time and many villas are already taking bookings for this popular time.

Now factor in that over the 250 villas on both the sites above only 12 advertise that they accept pets.

You have a fairly limited number of options so the faster you decide the better chance you have of getting the villa of your choice.
