Im going to Orlando in september for two weeks and i will be taking a laptop with me, mainly for use with the digital camera and entertainment while travelling.

However, i would like to have internet access while im there and also id like to be able to get at my emails etc. I have a BT Broadband account for home use here and i also have a couple of dial up accounts set up as back up and for UK travel.

What i was wondering was if anyone had any info about how i go about setting up access on my laptop while im in Orlando, also would i be able to set up a US based dial up for the duration of my stay and simply use a phone line in my hotel??? (Quality Inn Plaza) How are hotels about this and do rooms generally have phone points to plug into???

Any help at all on this would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi,
I connected through www.access4free.com

It was $9.95 per month for unlimited internet access.
They give you a list of local dial up numbers to use.

Just watch out for the telephone call charges, even if you use access4free which are local numbers, if you are connecting to the internet via a hotel telephone system!

I made two short calls from our hotel room in Chicago in December and my credit card bill was more than $30!

I just checked on the internet for your specific hotel and it says dataports are available in executive rooms. Also, they apparently have a fully equipped Business Center with computers.
