Future guests are committed Christians and are looking for a church around Glenbrook (US27/I192).
Anybody have information please?
Thanks,
Tony.
What denomination are they? We wouldn't want to send them to somewhere unsuitable for their particular faith.

I'm sure one of the villa owners (Chris I think) can help you with that!

Here's details of a smallish Baptist Church called Discipleship Baptist Church. Onme of the owners says they are a very friendly bunch of people who made them very welcome, led by Pastor Marion Seiver. The Church is situated south of Highlands Reserve just off US 27 about 1or 2 miles south of the I4 intersection on the left hand side - you turn left immediately after the Wagon/truck/lorry sales park. Their address is 125, Cottonwood Drive - there is a large notice just before the turn. Their telephone number is 863-424-3674, and their web address is http://home.att.net/~discipleshipbc. The Sunday Morning Service starts at 10:45am, the Evening Service at 6:00pm and the Bible Study is on Wednesday evenings at 7:15pm.
Also Celebration Church is lovely. I attended their Xmas eve service 2 years ago.
There's also Mary Queen of the Universe shrine on Vineland Ave which if I remember rightly is a Catholic church. http://www.maryqueenoftheuniverse.org/

Hi:)
We go to Cornerstone Baptist Church which is on the US27
People are very friendly and the pastors wife runs a creche during the service for little ones.
The church is new and currently meeting in a school on the opposite side to Highlands Reserve.
Any more details needed just ask[msnwink]
Regards
Ian
That's good to hear Ian as our villa is on Highlands Reserve so I can just walk across the road to church when we are next over:D
I don't remember ever seeing a school across the road though??? Can you give me any more info.

Anyone been to a gospel church. We are always saying we would love to go-but the Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues at Downtown Disney does not have the same appeal.
The 4 corners school is right at the bottom of the road opposite

Hi Diane:)
You cannot see the school from the road
as the underlation of the land stops you.
The school is "down in a dip"
I can`t remember the name of the school
but it may be four corners[?]
Let me know if you need any more info
Regards
Ian
That's great - I'm sure we will find it:D
Could you tell me the times of the services please or if you have any contact details that would be useful.
I live in Highlands Reserve and goto Community of Faith Church also in the Four Corners School area. Scott, The Pastor is excellent and the service is very moving. There is a service on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. and on Sundays there is a Traditional Service at 8:30 and a Contemporary Service at 10:30.
Directions:
From 192
Go South on US27 3 miles. Turn left on Student Drive
From I-4
Go North on US27 4 miles. Turn right on Student Drive

What sort of church is this Richard? Is it part of a denomination?
Is there a website or email contact as I will want to know details of christmas services nearer the time....
Also same question to Ian.... is that 4 corners ??
Part of our difficulty as Brits is knowing what sort of service we will be walking into...ie how it compares to our usual services...
Thanks

Hi Joolz:)
It is a Baptist Church and fairly traditional.
Hymns,bible reading,prayer and a sermon.
Some hymns/songs are of american origin and not as well known as say Wesley`s hymns etc.
There are two churches side by side at the school as your drive up Cornerstone is the one on the right hand side.
It is a chuch plant (new work) for the area from another church.
It has been 18mths since I was there and the Pastor`s name is Joel
don`t know his surname.
I think the other church may be Pentecostal but not positive.
Hope this is of some help.
Best Regards
Ian:D
Thanks for the church times Ian:)
