this may seem a silly question but how do you get your 'gold stars'?[?]

maybe I should have explained myself a little better, I meant how do you get your "gold stars" on the forum?

You've got a way to go yet... you get purple stars first for the number of posts you make and then gold stars arrive when you reach the magic number!
