again on the OBT-bottom bit. Walmart backed-but haven't tried this one yet so don't know if
a) you need a pass
b) you need to pay for a pass.

Has anyone else tried it?

I used to be able to get a tempory day pass with my airline ID card but they dont allow it anymore, its just like Costco anyway.

I have had a membership for one year it runs out in June I have only used my card twice so realy I think its not worth it unless you need to buy a lot of new things for your home also I had trubble paying they would not take a dolla city bank cheque or a dolla visa <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

Sam's club is a division of Wal-Mart (as in Sam Walton). They are like COSTCO in that they require "membership", somewhere around $35/year. They are good if you need large quantities of items, like two dozen rolls of toilet paper, a package of a dozen light bulbs. Their fresh food...meats and vegetables, actually have a reputation for being very high quality, and reasonably priced. Paying at Sam's is a bit of a challenge since they don't want to pay the VISA or MasterCard commission. You can use a "Discover" credit card, a Sam's private credit card, a U.S. check card, or cash.
