Looks more serious this time, what's the risk to Florida flights (United via Newark in particular)?

I have read in the papers today that the volcano has already erupted without an ash cloud and that there is no threat to airlines. Iceland have been accused of over reacting the possible threat. All airIines have said they will continue to fly.
