Manatees at blue springs

Hi
Would recommend a trip to blue springs if you have time, about an hour up the I4. During the winter months you are sure to see manatees keeping warm in the spring!!!

This is a great place to see the manatees and the rangers go round and count them daily to check numbers they also give talks about these creatures during the day. At certain times of the week the Thursby house is also open to look round and gives an interesting insight into an older home.

We love going to see the manatee, usually we visit around march time when the spring is lovely and warm. :cool:
