website link edited out

If you go to the edited website, click on the 'Free vacation planning kit' and you can get a useful visitor guide brochure sent out by post.
It has some info on special offers, and a good map and lots of addresses and phone numbers of attractions.
Order yours well in advance- mine has taken several weeks to get here.

There is alot of info on the website too.

Sorry but I've edited out this website - anyone who wants to get their info pack please PM Firsttimer for the address

I agree. I sent for it too and the new kit just arrived. Very useful info.

Sorry about that.
It looked like the official tourist website, so I didn't think there would be a problem.
If it isn't, is there an official site like our tourist boards?

No worries Firsttimer.

There's not an 'official' tourist website that I know of for Florida that isn't plastered in ads of one sort or another unfortunately! [msnoo]

I suppose the ads are the way they pay for the guide.
I am happy to email the link to anyone.

Blott,
what about 'The official Web Site of the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau'?
They offer a free visitors planning kit.
Can we use the link to their web address?[?]

Requested info from one site and got this e-mail.

From: Florida Governor Jeb Bush
Subject: Message from Florida Governor Jeb Bush
Thanks for requesting more information from FLAU*A.com, Florida's Official Visitor Information Web Site.
Etc etc etc

Does this mean that the Governor has sold out? ;)
