Cold Weather Warning

The Government have issued a warning due to the cold weather.

They suggest that anyone traveling in the icy conditions should make sure to have the following:


Shovel
Blankets or Sleeping Bag
Extra clothing including Hat and Gloves
24 hours of Food
De-Icer
Rock Salt
Tyre Chains
Torch or Lantern with Spare Batteries
Road Flares or Reflective Triangles
Empty Gas Can
First Aid Kit
Jump Leads



I looked a right pillock on the bus this morning !!!

That made me smile for 2 reasons. The picture on the bus and the fact that I am in Florida at the moment and the other morning they issued a cold weather warning here, they said that the school children may need a jacket or some such going to school. I took a cardigan going to the shops but had to carry it as I was too hot by 10-30.
I have been here when it genuinely gets cold but for the most part cold means sleeves.
