We just decided to make a 5 day short trip to Orlando in October....We got the air for $112.00 per person round trip! How is the weather?? How about the parks are they crowded? We have gone nearly every month except Oct. Bonnie

We have been a few times in October.
Parks are generally quiet.
Loads more from UK as it is the school holidays but they make up such a small percentage of people in the area anyway.

What is the percentage of uk people picked out at shows ?
My mum was picked once but refused to go.

Weather - Reasonably hot but can get wet at times. Those ponchos packed with you are useful. We take an umberella for the car as they say when it rains it rains.

We went the last week of october 3 years ago, and found it warm but wet (occasionally) during the day, but you needed jeans or something for the evening.

Still much warmer than at home - and you could sit out at night with a drink by the pool.

Hi Bonnie
I must admit October is our favourite time to go,last week in Oct. is uk school hols. most other weeks aren't too bad. We had less rain than during the summer months both times we went and it wasn't too hot and humid.

Average daily temperature during October is 29c
Average rainy days is 8 (compared to 15 in July)
But whenever it's warm rain anyway!!

Bonnie
"Nattering" means talking a lot. What Fiona means is that you get stars under your name depending on how many "posts" you've made. As you can see Fiona and I "natter" even more. I wonder if it comes from the "natterjack" toad with it's incessant chattering,

Easy way to translate C into F is double it and add 30! Gives you a rough guide anyway! So 29C would be 88F. Sounds good to me!!!

I've been in October and always had great weather, even after it RAINS (should I say downpours!), ten minutes later the sun is back out and everything is back to normal!!! It's also the best time to go on any rides, no queues!!!

Is October a rainy month then???? We havebeen in Noveember and it was perfect. No rain the weather was cool in the am and later in the pm but the days were 80's so I wondering if it would be the same. Thanks for helping Tink. Bonnie

No, not at all I really don't care whether it rains or not. I'll be out of work and in Florida! Really looking forward to it, this trip will be different our oldest doesn't want to go so just the three of us this time. Bonnie

October would be my first choice. The weather is just about perfect (90F on the day I was married) but without that humidity that can make it so uncomfortable. Working in a school means I am tied to the school holidays, so October was forced upon me, but now it is our joint first choice along with the Easter break. You may need a little pool heat though.

Bonnie,

We have been end October/beginning of November (though not for a few years) and the weather has been perfect. I don't even remember any rain! It is also our favourite time of year to go as it has been in the early 80s but not too hot and humid to be unbearable. Parks not too crowded either!

Enjoy!
