West Haven

Hi - has anyone got any info on the West Haven and Cumbrian Lake communities?
Are they gated?
Just wanted some more info on them if possible.

Lee - Don't know about Cumbrian Lakes but I know that West Haven is a gated community. I have stayed at 2 different villas at The Abbey at West Haven and enjoyed it both times. I am unsure of the Community Club House as I have never used it but it has tennis courts, swimming pool a gym and a volley ball court. I copied the following from The Orlando Villas Website regarding West Haven:

The Abbey at West Haven is a small select development of just 58 executive villa homes set amid a wildlife wetland conservation area – easily one of the very best locations around. It is a gated community on the south side of the CR54 just west of its intersection with the I4. All attractions are easily accessed and the Disney gates are just 10 minutes away. Orlando airport is about 40 minutes drive. Champions Gate Golf Complex is just three minutes drive and many other gold courses are within easy reach. There is a parade of shops and restaurants and a large supermarket at Champions Gate. The Abbey homes are all private pool homes and were developed by a quality builder. All have been finished to an exceptionally high standard and specification with many usual upgrades build as standard. About 1/2 mile from the community towards Highway 27 you will find a Walgreens –pharmacy/supermarket, and petrol station. Highway 192 is a five minute drive North. This major thoroughfare boasts every conceivable type of shop and restaurant. There is a large hospital (with an emergency dept) approximately 5 minutes drive away. This community was featured on UK Meridian TV’s ‘I Want That House’.

We love Westhaven close to Champions Gate with various shops and supermarket. Must make one point not all the communities on Westhaven have access to the clubhouse
I know The Abbey and The Shires does, not sure about the other communities . But I am sure the owners will inform you.
